The naturally occurring adhesive species of this plant called agarwood has a very high aroma and is a very expensive plant ingredient species. This glue species, which is produced between 2% and 7%, is a very popular plant ingredient species among perfume makers in Europe. The three varieties of the genus Thymalasi- Gyrinopus valla, Aquilaria Krishna, Aquilaria sabintigara are cultivable varieties, while Gyrinopus valla or Vallapatta is common in the evergreen wet forests of Sri Lanka. 

In Asian countries such as India, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, etc., about three hundred years ago, this aquilaria (agarwood) plant has been commercially cultivated and exported to countries in the Western world and the Middle East, earning a large amount of foreign exchange. At present, it can be seen that this aquilaria (Agarwood) is being carried out very successfully in Sri Lanka as well. The main objective of our company is to introduce new farming methods to boost the economy of the farming community of Sri Lanka, which is limited to a traditional farming pattern.
